Indications:
Immune-mediated skin diseases including pemphigus, lupus, eosinophilic granuloma, etc...
Dose:
One capsule per 10-20 pounds twice daily. The dosage is recommended one full tablespoon twice daily for equine patients.
Ingredients:
Bupleurum, scutellaria, peony, rhemannia, angelica, foti root, tree peony bark, poria, hypoglauca rhizome, honeysuckle, dandelion herb, oldenlandia, Atractylodes lancea rhizome, licorice, Bubalus bubalis horn shavings, kochia, earthworm, zaocys.
Monitoring:
By physical examination and laboratory testing.
Contraindications:
Do not use in animals sensitive to any of the ingredients. There is no contraindication known in conjunction with conventional drugs.
Prescribing Information:
Severe lichnificational atopy dermatitis and Acral lick granulomas combined with DermGuard. Toxicity & reactions are extremely rare. In some extreme cases, herbal supplements may cause vomiting & diarrhea in the first 24-48 hours. Symptoms stop as soon as the herbal supplements discontinued.
