HipGuard

Indications:
Hip dysplasia, arthritis on hips, knees or hocks. Muscle spasms on hind legs, patella subluxation, and anterior cruciate ligament ruptures.

Dose:
1 capsule per 10-20 pounds twice a day depending on the severity. The dosage is recommended one full tablespoon twice daily for equine patients.

Ingredients:
Frankincense, myrrh, Corydalis rhizome, tangerine, curcuma root , pubescent angelica root, angelica root, cinnamon, drynaria, teasel root, morinda, eucommia bark, ox knee root, lycopedium, eupolyphaga, dragon's blood, white peony, Atractylodes lancea, clematis, astragalus, jujube fruit, clematis, astragalus, white atractylodes rhizome, aconite, angelica radix.

By physical examination

Contraindications:
Do not use in animals who are sensitive to any of the ingredients. There is no contraindication known in conjunction with conventional drugs.

Prescribing Information:
The last two conditions require higher dosage of the HipGuard, such as one capsule per 10-15 lbs BID, and may take up to 6-12 months to stabilize the stifle or patellae. Other herbal supplements, such as CervicoRelief, BackRelief, Elbophlex, can be used in conjunction with this herbal supplement if it’s needed. NSAID can be used in conjunction with the herbs if it’s needed. Toxicity & reactions are extremely rare. In some extreme cases, herbal supplements may cause vomiting & diarrhea in the first 24-48 hours. Symptoms stop as soon as the herbal supplements discontinued.
